Terms, Shipping and Returns

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These terms cover buying something from warp-art.com. They’re written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask at hello@warp-art.com before you order rather than after.

1. Who you’re buying from

ConnectEngine LLC
30 N Gould St Ste R
Sheridan, WY 82801
United States

Trading as Warp Art. Contact: hello@warp-art.com

Every order on this site is a contract between you and ConnectEngine LLC.

2. How an order works

  1. You put something in the cart and go to checkout.
  2. You enter your shipping details and pay.
  3. Paying places the order. It doesn’t accept it yet.
  4. We send you a confirmation email that the order arrived. That email is a receipt, not an acceptance.
  5. The order is accepted when we send it to our fulfilment partner to be printed. You’ll get a second email at that point.

If we can’t accept an order (a design has been withdrawn, an address can’t be shipped to, a price was displayed wrong), we cancel it and refund you in full. We won’t quietly substitute a different colour or size.

Product photos are mockups. The print is placed and scaled the same way on every garment of a given type, but colours vary a little between screens and between fabric batches, and a print on fabric never matches a backlit screen exactly.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in US dollars (USD).
  • Prices shown include the item. They do not include shipping, which is added at checkout, or any import duty and tax your own country charges on the way in.
  • Payment is by PayPal. You can pay with a card through PayPal without holding a PayPal account. We never see or store your card number.
  • No sales tax is added at checkout at the moment. Import duties, customs charges and local sales tax on delivery are yours to pay. We can’t calculate them for you and we can’t refund them.
  • If a price is obviously wrong (a $32 tee listed at $3.20), we’ll tell you, cancel the order and refund you rather than ship at the mistake price.

4. Made to order. What that actually means

Nothing on this site exists until you buy it. There’s no warehouse. When your order is accepted, the artwork file goes to our fulfilment partner, they print it onto a blank garment, and they ship it to you from whichever of their facilities is closest.

That has three consequences worth being straight about:

  • It takes longer than shipping from stock. Printing time comes before transit time.
  • Every item is made to your order, in your size, from your choice of design. It is not a stock item that can go back on a shelf.
  • You cannot change or cancel an order once printing has started. Write to hello@warp-art.com as fast as you can and we’ll try, but once the file is at the printer it’s out of our hands.

5. Production and shipping times

Both of these are estimates from our fulfilment partner, not promises we control. They’re what we’re told to expect, and we’d rather give you a range than a single number we can’t hold.

Stage Estimate
Printing, before it ships 2 to 5 business days
Transit, once shipped 3 to 8 business days

So a normal order lands somewhere between about one and two and a half weeks after you place it. Busy periods (November, December) run longer, and we’ll say so on the site when they do rather than quietly missing the estimate.

You get a tracking number when the parcel is actually handed over, not when the label is printed.

We ship worldwide. Shipping is charged at a flat rate that is shown at checkout before you pay.

6. If something arrives wrong

This is the part that matters, so it’s short and it’s a real promise.

If your item arrives misprinted, defective, or damaged in transit, we replace it free. Tell us within 30 days of it arriving, send a photo, and we’ll get a new one made. You don’t pay for the replacement and you don’t pay to send anything back.

Send it to hello@warp-art.com with your order number and the photo. That’s the whole process. There’s no form and no ticket number.

The same applies if the wrong item or the wrong size turns up: our mistake, our cost.

7. Right of withdrawal, and where it doesn’t apply

If you’re a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

Every item on this site is printed after you order it, in the size and design you chose. That makes it a made-to-order good, so the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to these orders. Consumers in the UK are in the same position under the equivalent provision of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Two things this does not take away from you:

  • Your statutory rights if the item is faulty, misdescribed or not what you ordered. Those are untouched and always will be. Section 6 is how we handle them, and it’s more generous than the law requires.
  • The right to withdraw before printing starts. If you email us fast enough that the file hasn’t gone to production yet, we’ll cancel and refund you.

We don’t accept change-of-mind returns, and we’d rather say that here than bury it. If you’re unsure about a size, use the size guide on the product page, or ask us before you order and we’ll answer honestly.

8. Refunds

Refunds go back through PayPal to the account or card you paid with. Once we send it, it usually shows up within a few business days, though that’s your bank’s timing rather than ours. Shipping costs are refunded too when the fault was ours.

9. What we’re responsible for

We’re responsible for getting you what you ordered, in working condition, and for fixing it when we don’t. We’re not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, weather, or an address that was typed wrong at checkout.

To the extent the law allows it, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and nothing here takes away a consumer’s statutory rights.

10. Your account

Accounts are optional. Guest checkout works. If you make one, keep the password to yourself. Sign-in is email and password only, with no social login, on purpose.

11. Intellectual property

The designs, artwork, photography, text and code on this site belong to ConnectEngine LLC. Buying a shirt buys you the shirt. It doesn’t buy you the artwork or a licence to reproduce it, print it, or sell it. Wear it, photograph it, post it, tag us. Don’t put it on a product you sell.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and the courts of Wyoming have jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country you live in, or of your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We’re not obliged to use a consumer arbitration body and we don’t.

13. Changes

We can change these terms. The version on the site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order, so a later change never reaches backwards into something you already bought.

Not legal advice

Written in plain English, in good faith, by the person who runs the shop, and not by a lawyer. It describes how the shop actually works. It isn’t legal advice.
